Background

I am a Professor of Marketing and Economic Policy at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. I previously held faculty positions at NYU Stern, where I was the Director of Doctoral Education and was on the school leadership team, and Duke Fuqua School of Business. I received my BA and BE in Engineering from Dartmouth College, my MA in Economics from Stanford University, and my PhD in Business from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. I study consumer and firm behavior, focusing on the causal effects of marketing and policy decisions. More generally, I am interested in the fields of marketing, empirical industrial organization, and energy and environmental economics with an emphasis on policy-relevant questions that impact multiple sets of stakeholders.
